UKJF’s Accredited and Acclaimed Schools Education Programme 

UK Jewish Film runs the only nationally accredited Jewish Education Programme of its type for non-Jewish schools. Our tried-and-tested education programme is using the power of film to explore British-Jewish life and culture, and to combat antisemitism.

We’re at the cutting edge, delivering education to the most challenging inner city schools, confronting stereotypes, and bridging cultures. 

If we’re to stem the rising tide of prejudice and intolerance, we urgently need your help now to allow us to deliver our impactful education programme nationwide. 

Running the UK Jewish Film Festival, we know that film has the power to reach young minds. 
 
Our schools programme focuses on ethnic-minority state schools where reports of antisemitism are highest. 76% of our programme students confirm they now have a better understanding of Jewish identity and antisemitism. 

Last year UK Jewish Film’s education reached 1,500 students in Tower Hamlets, Hackney and Southwark. We need to triple this. To succeed we urgently need more educators and to produce more high-quality short documentary films that speak powerfully to young, non-Jewish students, to make a difference. 

The fundraiser means we will be able to pay for:

1. Three more professional educators
2. Four new short documentary films about British-Jewish life. UK Jewish Film saves money by writing and producing our own short films, drawing on outstanding filmmaking resources.
3. High quality follow-up resources for our schools

If we’re to live peacefully and safely side by side in a multi-cultural British society, we need more of our effective education about Jewish-lived experience that truly connects and engages.We cannot do this alone. 

That need is urgent and the time to act is now, but we can only make this happen with your support today.
