As a member of the Chesed team I am really proud to be raising money for our vital and inspiring work. 
Chesed is the Hebrew word for kindness and that really is the driving force of our work. I am fortunate to be one of those lucky people that loves her job, why? Because I know that every day we are making a tangible difference in changing people’s lives for the better.

For us at Chesed, kindness is our currency and our dedicated army of volunteers form the backbone of our mission. Sadly, volunteer efforts alone cannot sustain our life-changing work. We desperately need funds to ensure we can provide support to the growing number of people who need our services. 

From delivering weekly food parcels and freshly cooked meals to people in need, to distributing supermarket vouchers and food boxes for Pesach, from providing chaplaincy support to those in hospitals and prisons, from supporting asylum seekers and refugees in our Drop-in Centres. to tackling education inequality through our highly successful Stationery Bank and simply being there to listen when someone needs us—US Chesed is a critical lifeline for thousands in our community and beyond.
