Yesoid is a dedicated one-to-one mentoring programme for boys across North Manchester. We offer a supportive space where each boy can connect, grow, and thrive. Yesoid works with boys from a wide variety of schools, matching each mentee with a carefully chosen mentor who provides consistent guidance and encouragement, helping them build confidence, develop essential life skills, and realise their full potential.

Mentors act as an older-brother figure, giving boys a safe place to talk openly and be heard. Through acceptance, warmth, and trust, our professionally trained and supervised mentors help boys build confidence, navigate challenges and grow into their best selves.

We view ourselves as a preventative service: giving boys the support they need before problems escalate and ensuring each child develops the skills they need to succeed.

The mentor–mentee relationship built through Yesoid often continues long after the child has left school.

Yesoid’s vision is to continue growing, providing a wide range of activities and programmes — all built around its central mission of connection. It fills a vital gap that neither home nor school can entirely meet, ensuring that every boy has the stable, trusting relationship he needs to flourish. In supporting Yesoid, one invests not only in the wellbeing of individual children but in the strength and future of the kehilla itself!
