I’m fundraising for Phyllis Tuckwell’s 36-Hour appeal to help them raise funds to build a new state-of-the-art hospice. Phyllis Tuckwell, Hospice Care is a charity very close to my heart and I’d greatly appreciate your support in helping to raise funds, so the local community can benefit from this fantastic new facility, now and for the future. Phyllis Tuckwell’s old building was lovely, but no longer suitable to provide modern healthcare, with small rooms, narrow corridors and failing infrastructure. Also, with a growing and aging population, more of us than ever will need specialist care at the end of our lives, 80% in fact. Phyllis Tuckwell is the only provider of specialist end-of-life care in our part of Surrey and Hampshire. They support one in three of us in our area who are facing a terminal illness, so, this new hospice, which will help thousands more people, is up to all of us to help make it happen. The building of this new hospice will receive no Government or NHS funding, and therefore needs our help to make this fabulous new facility a reality. It’s not Phyllis Tuckwell’s new hospice, it’s YOURS! Every donation made in these 36 hours will also be doubled by some generous Phyllis Tuckwell match donors, so let’s do this!
