This is Phyllis Tuckwellβs 36-Hour appeal to help raise funds to build a new state-of-the-art hospice.
The old Hospice building was lovely and served us well, but was no longer suitable to provide modern healthcare, with small rooms, narrow corridors and failing infrastructure. Also, with a growing and aging population, more of us than ever will need specialist care at the end of our lives, 80% in fact. In the future, 1 in 3 people in our local community with need the support of Phyllis Tuckwell.
Phyllis Tuckwell is the only provider of specialist end-of-life care in our part of Surrey and Hampshire. This new Hospice will help thousands more people for years to come.
The building of this new hospice will receive no Government or NHS funding, and therefore we need your help to make this fabulous new facility a reality.
